A family Christmas tradition of mine is to see The Nutcracker! We try to see a different ballet company every year and this year's choice was The Washington Ballet. As a dancer, I am more critical of ballets, but I also know how hard those dancers work. This year show took an interesting spin on it with President Washington as the hero. My favorite parts are the wind-up dolls in act one and the sugar plum fairy in act two!
