OGR: Gravity

I just got out Gravity and I LOVED it.

The film Gravity, directed by Alfonso Cuaron, stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. The film, put simply is about a space crew who become stuck in a debris storm in outer space  Stone (Sandra Bullock) becomes untethered from the spaceship and is "lost" in space. The film is about her struggle to find a way back to earth.

I  must say that initially I did not want to see this film. I thought that it was going to be cheesy and I could not see how someone could make a 2 hour film about this. I thought it was going to be predictable.

Boy, was I wrong. My roommate invited me to join her, and since I just love movies I went. We watched it in 3D (the only way to this film by the way).

This film was a big surprise. I LOVED it! Why? The cinematography was absolutely breathtaking! The editing and special effects were amazing! The acting (I would not be surprised if Sandra is nominated for this film) was incredible. There are few films that I love because of the actual film aspect. Not because of the story or because of the action. This film was done so well. Alfonso Cuaron has a gift. He also directed the Children of Men and I can definitely see his style. I love it! I also found that he directed the third HP film!! I will be rewatching it soon.

Overall, I give Gravity 5/5. I highly recommend this film, especially if you are able to see it in 3D and on the largest screen possible.
