OGR: The Great Gatsby

Here is the second installment of my "On-the-Go Review." I will normally do these the moment I get out of the theatre, but I went to the midnight premiere and it was really late when I got out. 

But anyway! The Great Gatsby was awesome! I really loved it! At first, I was a little annoyed with the camera styling. It was zooming in and swinging around to much for my taste. But after a while, I got used to it. Well actually, it was during the first party scene when Nick gets drunk for the "second" time that I started to enjoy it. 

As you can tell by the trailer, it is VERY stylized with bright bold colors and modern music.

I loved this aspect of it. The 20s seems like an amazing era to live. I absolutely loved to see the fashion and dancing!! 

And of course, we cannot forget about the incredible Leo! He has always been one of my favorite actors (definitely on my top 5 list). His acting was ridiculous! I wanted to tell him to calm down! He's just too good. 

I really suggest it! Especially to all of us younger generations who read the book in high school. Trust me, this movie is MUCH better than the one we saw back then. 

Overall I give it a 4.9/5. I loved it!!!! I think I may go see it again actually!
